Well, it seems that a newsgroup does work for solving those annoying
problems.

Thanks to Erik Bergquist for the Ultrinit solution with the
disappearing mouse cursor under Windows. If I do not run Ultrinit
before running Windows, the mouse cursor is unaffected.
This is with version 3.59 of the GUS software.

weird, on my midas setup it will _not_ let me select gravis ultrasound.
It is _always_ greyed out. Is it not finding some .ini file or something?

I've got another problem with the MIDAS MOD drivers/player. When I run it it
seem to clog my wave-device. And it remains stuck, even when I try to close
Windooze. Then it chokes on the Windows_end WAV and crashes. I allways have to
use a vulcan-nerve-pinch on my box, when I used MIDAS.

What could be the Problem ?

	Thanks in advance,
	Jens-Uwe Jansen

When I ran the MIDAS player, I got to the setup page, and the GUS was
greyed out. I have an early GUS card(v 2.62) with 512K. Is everyone running
this on a GUSMAX???

Subject: SB and GUS

I think someone asked this question before and I didn't hear anything.
The question is how I can install GUS and sound blaster card together.
Actually I gave up to make my computer recognize two cards together.
So I tried seperate configure setup. When both cards are in the computer,
SoundBlaster setup has no problem but GUS setup has DMA channel problem
and system freezing (Obviously, I can't run any program). Of course,
without soundblaster card, there is no problem running GUS card. Anybody
has any suggestion?
Thanks.

Hi everybody!

I'm a GUS MAX owner, and I have an AZTECH CD-ROM too.
My problem is, that Sound Station always tells me, my
CD is empty. Thats why I can't play any audio CD-s through
my GUS. Can anyone help me?
